Apparently the negotiations with Rolles Gracie fell through as M-1 Global has announced Fedor Emelianenko’s next opponent: former UFC heavyweight champion Pedro “The Rock” Rizzo.
Evgeni Kogan announced on his twitter feed that “The Rock” would take on Fedor. Rizzo is currently on a three fight win streak with TKO’s of Ken Shamrock and Gary Goodridge following a decision victory over recent Fedor victim Jeff Monson. The Shamrock fight, Rizzo’s last victory, was in the summer of 2010.
