TNA Impact Wrestling Back-to-Back Ratings Drop to Summer 2010 Lows

News, Ratings

Last Thursday’s TV broadcast of TNA Impact Wrestling scored a dismal 0.97 rating and notched 1.31 million viewers. This was down from the prior week’s 0.98 rating / 1.39 million viewers, and the first time since summer 2010 that Impact had back to back sub-1.0 ratings.

For their part, TNA is claiming that some of their viewers had “technical difficulties” watching last week’s episode of Impact, so they are offering a special replay this Thursday night on Spike at 7:00 pm ET before the newest episode airs.

CB’s Slant: Considering Spike just signed a new long-term deal with TNA, Impact should not be in any danger of being canceled at the moment. However, with ratings like these, Impact’s long-term prospects do not look good, either.
