UFC 146 might be one of those cards that ends up being great in spite of itself, cursed with injuries and other shenanigans causing a number of shakeups. Two more changeups have been made.
Gabriel Gonzaga, who was slated to fight Roy Nelson, withdrew due to injury. In his place against Nelson will be Dave “Pee Wee” Herman, last seen getting knocked out by Stefan Struve. Struve is also on this card, taking on Mark Hunt.
Jamie Varner makes his return to Zuffa as well; the former WEC lightweight champion is stepping in for Evan Dunham against Edson Barboza on the undercard.
