Can You Name All Those Black Room DC Artifacts In FCBD New 52 #1?

News, Top Story

In addition to unveiling a Trinity of Sin, setting up a 2013 event called Trinity War, and rebooting the Shazam mythology in a more ethnically diverse manner, DC’s FCBD New 52 #1 also revealed a few powerful artifacts stored and protected by ARGUS, the agency Steve Trevor works for.

In the issue Pandora notes that she spied the Spear of Destiny, (something called) the Seven Spells of Shazam and the Black Diamond (of Eclipso infamy). So, what else do you see in the below pic? (Clicky for the biggy. :) ) This isn’t that big of a spoiler since this room shot is not integral to the events that unfold in the pages of DC’s FCBD New 52 #1.

Well, we can make out (from left to right), Kanjar Ro’s Gamma Gong (the “Do Not Ring” item), Etrigan’s armor from Demon Knights, the Haunted Tank, and a Red Lantern battery. I can’t make out the significance of the others items. Can you?

This was interesting in light of a very different artifact room in Stormwatch’s HQ revealed in that book’s fifth issue.

Very cool DC New 52 easter eggs in trophy rooms across the DCU. Hmmm, let’s check out Batman’s Batcave, Superman’s Fortress of Solitude and the Justice League’s trophy room next please DC! ;)
