In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Joe Perry says that Aerosmith will perform their new single on the May 23 finale of American Idol. Perry claims that their new album is in the beginning of the mixing process and it’s “really close” to being finished and released. Honest. Just because they’ve saying that for years with nothing to show for it, that doesn’t mean that THIS time they’re not telling the truth.
