The London Olympics have officially chosen Muse’s Survivalas the song for this year’s games. They will play the song during sporting sessions, as athletes enter the stadium, and for the lead ups to medal ceremonies. Front man for Muse Matt Bellamy says: “It’s a huge honor to have the track chosen as such a major part of the London 2012 Olympic Games, I wrote it with the Games in mind as it expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win.”
