This coming Monday 7/23/12 is the 1000th episode in the history of WWE Monday Night Raw. Therefore, it would only be right to take some time this week to look at some of the key components that will make up this landmark show. First up: The Return of D-Generation X. That’s right, Shawn Michaels and Triple H have been advertised not only as show stoppers, but show starters as well.
After all, WWE is pulling out all of the stops for Raw 1000, and what better way to make sure everyone tunes into the USA Network at 8:00 pm sharp than to promote one of their most popular factions of all time? The best part of this marketing tactic is that while DX is a high-energy way to start the show, it’s not really too big of a surprise, either, which makes it the perfect group to kick off Raw without spoiling any other, bigger surprises Vince McMahon may have planned along the way.
