This coming Monday 7/23/12 is the 1000th episode in the history of WWE Monday Night Raw. Therefore, it would only be right to take some time this week to look at some of the key components that will make up this landmark show. Last up in this special series: John Cena vs. CM Punk for the WWE Championship (Money In The Bank Briefcase Cash-In).
John Cena could have cashed in on a beaten down CM Punk this past week on Raw 999, but rather than listen to the Big Show, Cena decided to do right by the current WWE Champion and graciously wait until Raw 1000 to cash in so that CM Punk could be fresh for their match. Will this all come back to haunt Cena at Raw 1000 being that Punk at full strength is the best wrestler in the world today, or will Cena find a way to end Punk’s impressive title reign? Also, will Punk have anymore “Pipe Bombs” in store for the WWE Universe on such a big TV stage? We’ll find out the answer to these questions and more at Monday Night Raw 1000.
