At WWE Raw 1000, The Rock made a huge announcement regarding his quest for the WWE Championship. Specifically, The Rock announced to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan that he will face whoever holds the WWE title at the Royal Rumble for the championship. Rock then proceeded to call Daniel Bryan “Frodo” and an “Oompa Loompa”, then followed up those insults with a Rock Bottom that he said was Daniel Bryan’s “wedding present”. CM Punk also interjected his own quips on D-Bryan and stood toe to toe with Rocky during this memorable Raw in-ring segment.
