UFC LHW Champ Jon Jones Sentenced in DWI Case – Avoids Jail Time, Massive Fines

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones officially has his DWI case behind him after he was sentenced in that State of New York. He pled guilty to misdemeanor DWI in May and was sentenced to $1,000 and will have to install ignition interlocks on his automobiles. His license will also be suspended for six months and the champion will be required to complete a victim impact panel within 90 days of today.

The interlocks are a breathalyzer style system that will get installed directly into the car, preventing anyone from driving it with over a predetermined amount of alcohol in their system.
