WWE Ratings Expectedly Drop for Monday Night Raw 1001 … But By How Much?

News, Ratings

After posting huge numbers for WWE Raw 1000 last week, Raw 1001 really didn’t have a chance to measure up to that high standard. This week, Raw ratings were down over 20 percent compared with last week’s 1,000th episode extravaganza, averaging a 3.08 rating. From 8-9 pm ET, Raw scored a 2.79 rating with 4.06 million viewers, numbers that increased for the standard two-hour block from 9-11 pm ET, getting as high as 4.72 million viewers from 9-10 and as high as a 3.25 rating from 10-11 pm ET. Raw was up against wall to wall Olympics coverage and the hype surrounding it all weekend long, and also fell victim to TNT’s The Closer in the cable ratings race.
