According to the August 6 Observer Newsletter, the last live episode of TNA Impact Wrestling is presently scheduled to air on Thursday 8/30/12. However, Spike TV executives have been impressed with TNA’s positive momentum that they have built over the summer of live shows and there have been serious discussions about making Impact live on a permanent basis. TNA’s No Surrender PPV is scheduled for Sunday 9/9, so the Thursday 9/6 show may end up becoming a live taping anyway. The rest of September looks a little murky, but the current opinion is that even if a couple of shows are taped in advance that month, Impact could be ready to go live permanently starting Thursday 9/27. At this time, however, nothing has been finalized, according to The Observer.
