WWE SmackDown Spoilers 8/10/12 — General Manager Booker T comes out and talks about World Champion Sheamus destroying Del Rio’s car on Monday Night Raw. Booker asks Sheamus to apologize, and he comes out to do that. Alberto Del Rio follows and says he’ll press charges if he has to. Booker does Del Rio one better and makes Sheamus defend the title against Alberto … tonight.
1. Sin Cara def. Cody Rhodes — proving that Sin Cara doesn’t only win in Google searches.
2. Christian def. Antonio Cesaro — Antonio said victory in five languages, but Christian won with a Spear.
3. Randy Orton def. Jack Swagger — Shocker.
Booker T and Teddy Long are talking and are interrupted by Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. They want opportunity, but Booker calls them out for not being able to beat Ryback 2 on 1. Yepyepyep, what it do.
4. Jinder Mahal def. two jobbers. After the match, Ryback came out and Jinder bolted. Ryback then one-upped Jinder by crushing the two jobbers into oblivion.
Highlight Reel! Chris Jericho introduces the segment, then is interrupted by Vickie, prompting Jericho to call her Dolph Ziggler’s mother. They went back and forth to solidify the return of the old playful Y2J persona, leading to Dolph coming out for a sneak attack, a Zig Zag and and briefcase shot to Jericho.
5. Primetime Players def. Primo and Epico by DQ to become #1 Contenders for the tag titles, but it will likely be a Triple Threat since Kofi and Truth were instigated into interfering.
Booker T books Eve vs. Kaitlyn for next week’s show, with the winner becoming Booker’s assistant.
6. Rey Mysterio def. The Miz in a non-IC title match.
Daniel Bryan came out to huge heat, promoting his SummerSlam match with Kane. Kane and AJ both come out, and AJ asks Daniel to shake Kane’s hand. He says “No!!”, Kane and AJ fight a little, then Bryan leaves as AJ laughs.
7. Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the Big Gold Belt gets tossed out before it begins. Del Rio hired “security” to attack Sheamus before the match and Del Rio locks in the Cross Arm Breaker to hurt Sheamus and close the show.
