WWE Monday Night Raw Preview 08.13.2012 – CM Punk vs. Big Show to Kick Off Raw, HBK and Brock Lesnar Scheduled, More SummerSlam PPV Hype

News, Previews, Top Story

As announced by WWE.com, WWE Monday Night Raw 8/13/12 will be kicking things off tonight with CM Punk vs. Big Show as a follow-up to last week’s show-closing segment when Show knocked out both Punk and John Cena with the W.M.D. before Raw faded to black. Also, Shawn Michaels will be back on Raw tonight promoting the SummerSlam clash between Triple H and Brock Lesnar, but should HBK have stayed in San Antonio due to Lesnar’s threat against him last week?

What else is in store for tonight’s live three-hour episode of Raw? Check out the full preview below:

–Last week, Big Show stood tall over John Cena and WWE Champion CM Punk ahead of their Triple Threat match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Is Big Show the biggest threat to Punk’s title?

–On Raw last week, Sheamus took a joy ride with Alberto Del Rio’s car and TOUTED all about it. However, Alberto got his revenge on SmackDown when he hired his own private “security” to beat Sheamus down so badly that General Manager Booker T has effectively canceled the Del Rio vs. Sheamus title match at SummerSlam. Can Del Rio find a way to make sure he still gets his title shot, or is his destiny now changed forever as a result of his actions?

–Now that Daniel Bryan has embraced the power of “NO!”, will he finally be able to build up any kind of steam before his SummerSlam clash with Kane, or will Raw General Manager AJ Lee continue to thwart Bryan’s momentum?

–Yes, this guy from Jersey Shore is a guest on Raw tonight. Maybe that means Zack Ryder will get some airtime, at least.

–Shawn Michaels told everyone last week he’d be in Triple H’s corner at SummerSlam when Hunter faces Brock Lesnar. HBK will be on Raw again tonight, but so will Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Should Michaels have stayed back in San Antonio?

All this and more on WWE Monday Night Raw … tonight!
