WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for 08.20.2012 – SummerSlam PPV Fallout, Brock Lesnar Kicks Things Off, HBK Teases Appearance, WWE Title Picture

News, Previews, Top Story

Below is the full preview for tonight’s live episode of Monday Night Raw 8/20/12 featuring all of the fallout from Sunday night’s SummerSlam PPV. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman will kick things off tonight at 8:00 pm ET to undoubtedly gloat about beating Triple H in yesterday’s main event, and HBK Shawn Michaels is teasing an appearance as well. Meanwhile, WWE Champion CM Punk will certainly be on hand to discuss his Triple Threat WWE Championship match victory over John Cena and the Big Show, and I have a feeling Cena will have a lot to say about the way things went down at SummerSlam as well. Let’s see what else is in store for tonight’s live three-hour Raw broadcast:

–Last night, Brock Lesnar beat Triple H in the SummerSlam main event. While Hunter was able to leave under his own power, has The Game been changed forever? Either way, Lesnar and Paul Heyman now have serious bragging rights, and they will kick off tonight’s Raw to talk all about it.

–CM Punk managed to out-wrangle the Big Show and John Cena in their Triple Threat title match, and I’m sure Punk would love to move on to other opponents now that he dispatched of them. At the same time, John Cena can’t be happy with the idea of losing without being pinned, so this collision course looks to be far from over.

–Alberto Del Rio simply got screwed at SummerSlam. With his foot clearly on the rope during the deciding count of 3, Del Rio has a serious claim to a World Heavyweight Championship rematch against Sheamus. In fact, Del Rio has already filed a formal protest and he will be at Raw to talk about this injustice.

–Chris Jericho showed everyone that Y2J was back baby by winning the big one over Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam. How will Ziggler respond to being upstaged last night?

–Daniel Bryan shocked Kane and the rest of the world by reversing a Tombstone Piledriver into a roll-up victory, which really set Kane off. The Big Red Monster took his anger out on Josh Matthews, and after the incident Raw GM AJ Lee promised to address Kane tonight. What will happen when AJ tries to punish the Big Red Monster?

All that and more on Raw … tonight!
