American Idol was one of the biggest shockers of the season. Thankfully the judges used their only save of the season on her and Sanchez went on to make it to the finale of the show, ultimately finishing as the show’s runner up. At the American Idol Live! Tour stop in Toronto, I talked to the singer about how she felt when the save was used, if Phillip Phillips’ experience is what pushed him to win, her upcoming appearance on Glee and her newly-announced relationship with Deandre Brackensick.
