Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that its Adam Sandler comedy That’s My Boy will make its debut on Blu-ray and DVD on October 16th, 2012. The film, also starring Andy Samberg and Leighton Meester, got a ho-hum response when it was released theatrically this summer. It was Sandler’s latest attempt at having a restricted comedy be a success, but it, like 2009’s Funny People, failed at bringing his faithful fans to the theater.
The official specs have not yet been revealed, but what we do know is that both the Blu-ray and DVD will include three featurettes (“Who Are All These People?“, “Greetings from Cape Cod“, and “Classy Rick’s Bacon and Leggs“), a gag reel and deleted scenes.
