Current TNA Television champion Devon has been held at a stand still in contract negotiations with many people speculating that he and his former tag team partner, Bully Ray, would like to return to the WWE for “one last run”. Yesterday, Devon posted this on Twitter:
i would like to thank the tna fans for making the last seven years fun . im sure we will see each other again down the road real soon.
He has since been replying “Yes” to fans asking if his contract had expired and “HELL NO I’M NOT RETIRING”.
Considering Devon and Bully Ray both signed similar contracts before their recent singles’ runs, Bully Ray also took to Twitter to address the rumors of his leaving TNA.
Dont mattah where ya start..mattahs where ya finish. See ya in Phoenix!! STRONGEST THE LONGEST. #BULLYNATION
This of course alludes to Bound for Glory, which takes place in Phoenix, AZ but the rest can be left up to interpretation. It should be noted though that Bully Ray’s one current feud with Joseph Park has not been addressed in recent weeks.
Quick Quip: I’m not sure how well a Dudley Boyz reunion would work in the current PG landscape of WWE but Bully Ray has proven he can get over with a rather non-controversial character.
