WWE SmackDown Spoilers for 9/5/12 — Opening Segment: Alberto Del Rio, Ricardo Rodriguez, and David Otunga are in Booker T’s office and head down to the ring. Ricardo has a neck brace and Del Rio wants the Brogue Kick banned. Booker T comes out and asks the fans and they say the Brogue Kick should still be legal. End segment.

Match 1. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara def. The Miz and Cody Rhodes.

Hornswoggle stomps on Daniel Bryan’s toe. NO!

David Otunga threatens legal action on Booker T.

Match 2. Zack Ryder def. Daniel Bryan. Bryan actually made Ryder tap out, but when he refused to break the hold, the referee reversed the decision.

Randy Orton and Damien Sandow are backstage, and Orton tells Damien they are opponents tonight.

Match 3. Randy Orton def. Damien Sandow via countout. Dolph Ziggler was on commentary, Damien Sandow left the ring to get counted out. Orton and Ziggler fought and Sandow came back to try and double-team Randy. Orton shook it off and RKO’d Sandow as Ziggler escaped.

Otunga continued to press for a Brogue Kick ban (this time bringing X-Rays), leading Booker T to book Otunga vs. Sheamus for tonight out of frustration.

Match 4. The Primetime Players def. Primo and Epico. This was No. 1 Contenders match so the PTP’ers will face R-Boom at Night of Champions for the tag titles.

Teddy Long advises Booker T to make a match of Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton at Night of Champions.

Wade Barrett is back, and backstage with Matt Striker, leading to…

Match 5. Wade Barrett def. Yoshi Tatsu. New finisher for Barrett apparently, and a solid crowd reaction.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart will be live on Raw next week in Montreal.

6. Sheamus def. David Otunga. Sheamus was going to go for the Brogue Kick, but Booker T actually banned it mid-match. Sheamus still won anyway with Irish Curse.
