Bellator Heavyweight Champion Cole Konrad Retires

News, Top Story

At 9-0 and with the Bellator Heavyweight title firmly strapped around his hefty frame, Cole Konrad seemed to have it all. He even recently defeated Eric Prindle via submission for another title defense. Now, one of the best non-Zuffa heavyweights is hanging up his gloves at only 28.

Konrad, a former NCAA Heavyweight champion wrestler, took home $100,000 as part of his winnings in Bellator, now tackles a new role: financial trading. That’s right, Konrad is giving up combat sports for a gig at North Central Trading specializing in milk products.
