News

Yesterday afternoon, Jerry “The King” Lawler posted his first tweet since his heart attack suffered during Monday Night Raw last week. In the tweet, Jerry thanked the fans, apologized for not being able to make the WWE Night of Champions 2012 PPV, and praised his replacement JBL, who took over for Lawler on commentary last night:

“Sorry I can’t be at Night Of Champions tonight, but I understand JBL will be taking my place. I wish him the best of luck! @WWE @JCLayfield,” Lawler tweeted. “I also want to thank the thousands of fans and friends for the outpouring of well wishes and concern for me. I love the WWE Universe!”
