WWE Night of Champions 2012 PPV Results:
Match 1. The Miz def. Cody Rhodes, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio to retain the Intercontinental Championship
Match 2. Team Friendship (Kane and Daniel Bryan) def. R-Boom (R-Truth and Kofi Kingston) to win the Tag Team Titles.
Match 3. Antonio Cesaro def. Zack Ryder to retain the United States Championship
Match 4. Randy Orton def. Dolph Ziggler
Match 5. Eve def. Layla to win the Divas Championship (after Kaitlyn was “mysteriously” knocked out backstage earlier in the night)
Match 6. Sheamus def. Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship (after the Brogue Kick was reinstated by SmackDown GM Booker T as a legal move before the match started)
Match 7. CM Punk (c) and John Cena wrestled to a Draw in their WWE Championship match. After the decision was announced, CM Punk then laid out John Cena with the WWE title belt (before AJ or anyone with authority could come out and decide to restart the match) to close the show.
