Artifact, the new documentary detailing 30 Seconds To Mars’ troubles with label EMI, has won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. The movie, directed by Jared Leto under an alias, details the brutal legal battles that the band went through in order to escape their contract with the label. Those troubles eventually led to their third CD, 2009’s This Is War.
