WWE Monday Night Raw Preview for Monday 09.24.2012 — CM Punk vs. Refs, An Injured John Cena to Appear, and More Team Friendship (Kane and Daniel Bryan)

News, Previews, Top Story

WWE Monday Night Raw is live tonight (Monday 9/24/12) and features all of the fallout from last week including CM Punk wanting to chastise the referee who didn’t see his foot on the refs, John Cena showing up with his arm in a sling following surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow, and more from Team Friendship and the rest of the tag division including The Prime Time Players. But first, catch up on this past summer of WWE right here, then check out the Raw preview below:

–Anyone else want to place bets on how long before CM Punk DESTROYS the ref who blew the call last week? And no, I am not talking about the NFL replacement refs, either.

–Meanwhile, if you haven’t noticed the WWE is actually building some sort of an actual tag division recently thanks to the emergence of Team Friendship, of course. While Kane and Daniel Bryan are pretty dysfunctional despite being the champs, the Prime Time Players are out to prove how united they are in making sure that no one takes tag title opportunities away from them ever again. What will the PTP’ers have to say (or do) to the rest of the pairs who think they deserve their own title shots as well?

–In case you missed, SmackDown last week was a MUST WATCH. As I said in the comments section for Mike and Kelly’s SmackDown! Breakdown:

“This was the best scripted (and well-executed) single episode of SmackDown of the entire year. The whole flow to the show was incredible, and there was a clear beginning, middle and end that truly made sense on all levels.

I thought Edge added awesome context to the Team Friendship saga and Kane and Daniel Bryan absolutely struck gold all night long.

And did you hear that applause when Bryan “shared” the chair with Kane? It was just a perfect crescendo to the entire episode. Seriously great stuff and I highly recommend SmackDown this week to everyone, even to the non-regulars who normally only watch Raw.”

I hope to see more of this intrigue surrounding Team Friendship unfold on Raw tonight.

–Oh, and I guess we’re getting a Ryback vs. Miz feud, in case you were wondering.
