WWE Friday Night SmackDown Spoilers for Friday 9/28/12 – Big Show kicks off the show talking about no one making fun of him anymore since Bryan lost to Sheamus in 18 seconds at WrestleMania. Randy Orton comes out and says tonight it’s Orton vs. Show with the winner being No. 1 Contender and facing Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Hell In A Cell PPV. Alberto Del Rio interrupts and says he was screwed by Booker T, and gets an RKO for his troubles.

Match 1. Antonio Cesaro def. Santino to retain the United States Championship.

Match 2. Beth Phoenix def. Natalya to a huge hometown pop. Eve then suspended Beth indefinitely until the investigation on Kaitlyn’s attack is completed.

Backstage, Beth Phoenix confronted Booker T about her suspension. Eve said it was Teddy Long’s decision, then Booker said he’s got some thinking to do about the whole thing.

Match 3. Wade Barrett def. Zack Ryder.

Miz TV Segment – Miz and Sheamus argued, then Dolph and Vickie got thrown into the mix. Dolph teased cashing in on Sheamus following Hell In A Cell, and then they all brawled with Sheamus standing tall in the end.

Match 4. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes def. The Usos. This looks to be a tag team tournament leading to Hell In A Cell, so the Rhodes Scholars advance.

Match 5. Ryback def. Tensai. Huge pops for Ryback live.

Alberto Del Rio attacked Randy Orton and then came out trying to take Randy’s spot in the main event vs. Show. Randy was slowed down but after Del Rio made his way to the ring to face Show, Orton came back and beat up Del Rio. Then…

Match 6. Big Show def. Randy Orton. Show actually kicked out of an RKO, then reversed The Punt into a Choke Slam. Orton kicked out and then Show Choke Slammed Randy again to finally get the pin.

Post-match, Show hit the WMD on Orton and cut a promo on Sheamus. Then, Del Rio attacked Orton again to “take him out” so Orton can go back to the set of “12 Rounds: Reloaded” and be written of WWE TV for the time-being.
