Ted Blu-ray Dated And Detailed

Disc Announcements, News, Top Story

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced that Ted, the #1 comedy hit of the year, which also recently became the biggest R-rated original comedy ever, will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD on December 11, 2012. Written and directed by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of TV’s Family Guy, and starring Mark Wahlberg, the comedy became one of the big success stories this past summer, and made up for Universal’s dismal offerings of Snow White and the Huntsman and Battleship.

The film will be available as part of a Blu-ray combo release and includes both rated (1 hr, 47 min) and unrated editions (1 hr, 54 min), and will have deleted scenes, alternate takes, and a gag reel as part of its supplemental material. The Blu-ray will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen with a English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.
