The Voice – The Final Twelve

Reviews

On Thursday night, The Voice contestants were narrowed down to twelve – just three singers on each team.

Team Adam

Amanda Brown and Bryan Keith were put through by America’s votes. I wasn’t surprised at all by Amanda, but Bryan Keith has never impressed me and I think there were more deserving people on Team Adam. I thought he should have saved Loren Allred, but instead Adam put through Melanie Martinez. I think Melanie is a one trick pony who’s already reached her peak, but we’ll see what happens.

Team Blake

Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope were put through first by votes. I wasn’t sure what to expect for Blake’s team – I was sure Terry would get through, and then Cassadee, Michaela and Liz are all great. Once Cassadee was put through, I expected Blake to put Michaela through. He just seems to really like her. I was right Michaela Paige was the third addition to his team.

Team Christina

I fully expected Sylvia and De’Borah to be voted through, because they were miles better than everyone else on Team Christina. I was, unfortunately, only half right. Sylvia Yacoub was voted through, but so was pretty boy Dez Duron. I felt sure – SURE- that Christina would put De’Borah through. But she didn’t. She chose Adriana Louise. What a bummer. I’m 100% rooting for Sylvia to make it to the end on this team.

Team Cee Lo

I correctly predicted that Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David were voted through by America’s votes, and rightly so. But Cee Lo himself is such a wildcard, I wasn’t sure who he’d put through. I’m glad he chose Cody Belew – I think that guy has a lot of potential.
