WWE Monday Night Raw Spoilers 12/24/12 featuring John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Street Fight as your main event:
The set is decorated for Christmas. Santa Claus is your guest host, and then Alberto Del Rio “accidentally” runs St. Nick over with his car. LOL. Santa does give a thumbs up on his way out.
Match 1. Kane def. Cody Rhodes
Match 2. Kaitlyn, Layla, Alicia Fox and Natalya def. Eve,Tamina, Aksana and Rosa Mendes in a Santa’s Helper tag match. Kaitlyn pinned Eve.
Meanwhile, there is yellow caution tape around Del Rio’s car, which is still parked at stage side and is now a crime scene.
Match 3. Sheamus def. Big Show (non-title Lumberjack Match). Brogue Kick wins this one and then a brawl ensues. Titus O’Neil’s whistle was way over apparently.
Now David Otunga is out to defend Del Rio running over Santa, claiming Kringle is guilty of trespassing. Zack Ryder interrupts…
Match 4. Zack Ryder def. David Otunga. Ryder wins a match? It’s a Christmas Miracle! He was way over with the crowd.
Match 5. Kofi Kingston and The Miz def. Antonio Cesaro and Wade Barrett. Miz pins Wade after nailing the SCF. Plus there were “Miz is awesome” chants!
Sometime afterwards, Brad Maddox sings a Christmas jingle: “Brad Maddox is coming to Raw.”
Match 6. Great Khali def. Brad Maddox. Khali was dressed as a giant Elf. Ugh.
WWE Champion CM Punk came out to revive the crowd. He ripped Pittsburgh, said Ryback ruined Christmas and Hannakah, and yet he gets a title match in Jan. 2013. Punk continued to berate the crowd too. Paul Heyman then points out Punk is now champ for 400 straight days (as of Raw’s air date). Ryback interrupts and claims not only do they have a title match on Raw in two weeks, it will be Tables, Ladders and Chairs!!
Match 7. Daniel Bryan def. Damien Sandow. Bryan won with the NO! Lock.
Match 8. The Usos, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Santino and Brodus Clay def. The Prime Time Players, Tensai and 3MB — The Usos splashed Heath Slater for the pin.
So the main event is John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Street Fight, in a face vs. face matchup.
And, well, apparently comedy ensues:
After Cena enters the ring, Ricardo Rodriguez comes out crying about what happened to Santa. Then…
Match 9. John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio in a Christmas Eve Street Fight with a comedic bendt. Highlights:
–Crowd chants “You Killed Santa” to Del Rio
–There is a lot of humor injected, first with Cena and Del Rio talking, then a pie being used as a gift-wrapped weapon
–Multiple silly weapons were then used, teddy bears, more pies, a bowling ball, and almost a Christmas Tree
–Santa then ran in and used Mr. Socko on Del Rio (revealing Foley as St. Mick), enabling Cena to hit the AA and win.
After the match, Ricardo hugged it out with Santa and then Santa gave Ricardo and Del Rio Christmas presents to end the show on a feel-good moment.
