Rabblecast #302 WWE Returns: Ric Flair, Tommy Dreamer & more

It has come and gone, WWE’s TLC(Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) PPV gave us a glimpse of thing to come in 2013. What could have easily been a throw away PPV, has become the unexpected surprise for WWE. Not to mention the following night on Monday Night RAW. Returning faces, great matches, and new talent debuting on the roster. WWE seems to be firing on all cylinders. With the upcoming celebration of their 50th anniversary, 2013 is going to be a very busy year for WWE both in and out of the ring.

TNA wrestling has had its share of ups and downs for 2012. Format changes, live broadcasts, and their own invasion style storyline. On the other side. Delayed contract renewals leading to talent leaving, the many hiccups of Hulk Hogan, and the swinging pendulum of the locker room morale. Among all of this, TNA is still going strong. Not the close 2nd place company that everyone hoped it could be, but a very strong alternative 2nd place to WWE’s “PG” product. With the pending cuts of certain PPV’s let’s hope that the Creative Team in TNA can put the extra writing time into crafting something that can grab the fans attention in 2013 and inch closer to the top spot.
