One of Canada’s most successful original programs is Love It Or List It. Co-hosted by designer Hilary Farr and reality David Visentin, the show features a Canadian couple deciding whether or not they should stay in their current home. While making the decision, they present Hilary with a list of things they would need to change in their current house while talking to David about the requirements their perspective new home would need to feature. The hosts then compete against each other with Hilary attempting to remodel the couple’s current home while David trying to find a new listing that is better suited to their needs. The show has had an incredible four-season run on W Network while also being picked up by HGTV US.
As a result, the show was greenlighted for a West Coast spin-off and tonight marks the series premiere of Love It Or List It Vancouver on W Network. The show will be hosted by realtor Todd Talbot and my old friend from The Bachelorette, Jillian Harris.
I had the pleasure of talking to the pair at the W Network’s Winter Launch event and we discussed the differences between the spin-off and the original show, their chemistry, what to expect when the show kicks off tonight and Jillian’s thoughts on The Bachelor Canada and Bachelor Pad.
