Full WWE SmackDown Spoilers for Friday 1.11.2013 – The Rock Returns to the Blue Show, Who Does He Spar With?

News, Spoilers, Top Story

WWE SmackDown Spoilers Friday 1/11/13: To kick things off, CM Punk and Paul Heyman were shown outside of SunLife stadium. Punk blasted UM and then he put on an old Rock football jersey. Punk said this was his house now and that Rock hasn’t even been on SmackDown in ten years. (This may only be for the live crowd, not the TV audience).

The Rock came out to what seemed to be the official start of the 700th TV episode of SmackDown. Finally, The Rock, Has Come … HOME. To the show he helped build. Tons of pop for Rock in Miami and he does his usual stuff.

Suddenly, Rocky is interrupted by … Team Rhodes Scholars. Cody Rhodes tells Rock they will be the next champs before he is, and Rock goes right after Cody’s mustache, calling him “Caterpillar lip.”

Damien Sandow then intervened and asked Rock three questions (like he was searching for an apprentice). If Rock gets them right, he can stay. They went back and forth and at the end of it all, Sandow ate a Rock Bottom and Cody took a People’s Elbow.

Booker T came out next and said SmackDown will be better than Raw this week. He announced Antonio Cesaro vs. Randy Orton, The Rock in the ring and Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio in a Last Man Standing match. This might air on TV before Rock comes out.

Antonio Cesaro officially entered the Royal Rumble match.

Match 1. Randy Orton def. Antonio Cesaro by DQ when The Shield attacked Randy. Orton was able to exit on his own, but was beaten down.

Match 2. Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee def. The Great Khali and Natalya — AJ got the pin, and after the match Big E Langston nailed Hornswoggle with his finisher.

Match 3. Sheamus def. 3MB in a handicap match.

Match 4. Team Hell No def. The Prime Time Players.

Match 5. Alberto Del Rio def. Big Show in a Last Man Standing match to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Click here for more on this story.
