While it appeared that Alberto Del Rio’s World Heavyweight Title win came out of the blue, apparently The Big Show and the WWE have been in contract negotiations for a while and were worried that his contract would end while he still had the title.
Big Show & WWE did come to terms and that’s why he hasn’t missed any dates but reportedly creative is very happy with Del Rio as the babyface champion and are excited for the opportunities his character presents.
