News, Top Story

WWE SmackDown Spoilers 1/25/13 from Sacramento — The TV main event was set up during the usual back and forth intro between wrestlers that prompted Booker T to come out and book Alberto Del Rio and Team Hell No vs. Big Show and Team Rhodes Scholars in a six man tag elimination match.

Match 1. Sheamus def. Wade Barrett

Next week, it’s WWE Raw Roulette in Las Vegas for the post-Rumble show.

Match 2. Natalya def. Rosa Mendes

Next, WWE Champion CM Punk came out to address The Shield’s attack on Rock and Vince’s added stipulation for their title match. Punk talked about his future as WWE Champion but then called out The Shield himself. Punk said he won’t leave the ring until The Shield come out.

The Shield came down from the crowd. Punk told Rollins, Ambrose and Reigns to stay out of his way, and after some tense moments The Shield backed off and left Punk alone.

After another couple of words from Punk, The Rock’s music hit. Rock talked smack to Punk and then left, but when Punk called the Sacramento crowd “trash “, Rocky ran back down and exchanged blows with the WWE Champion. Rock then nailed Punk with a Rock Bottom to the crowd’s delight and to close the segment.

Match 3. Randy Orton def. Drew McIntyre by DQ after 3MB interrupted. Randy nailed all of them with DDTs and RKOs.

Match 4. The Miz def. Darren Young via the Figure Four as Antonio Cesaro looked on.

Match 5. Alberto Del Rio, Kane, and Daniel Bryan def. Big Show, Cody Rhodes, and Damien Sandow in a six-man elimination tag

Del Rio was left alone with Cody and Big Show and managed to eliminate them. Afterwards, Show came back and just assaulted Del Rio. He then finished the World Champ off by pushing a table onto a battered Del Rio, much like ADR did to Show when he won the title.
