TNA Gut Check Challenge Suspended Due to Voting Issues

News

Starting as an opportunity for new talents to showcase their abilities on the main show, in January TNA spread the GutCheck Challenge out to any independent wrestling stars.

Over 300 independent stars started off the competition consisting of 16 brackets. This would be whittled down to 16 finalists by March. TNA then changed the deadline to February claiming that the three top vote-getters from the brackets would move on.

When the actual voting started, a big problem arose due to the fact that anyone could vote as often as they wanted.

TNA finally ended the disaster on Wednesday, claiming that the contest will restart soon with a new voting system that will eliminate the issues.
