The card for the UFC’s return to Sweden in April is starting to come together as four fights have been added to the night’s festivities.
Bantamweights Brad Pickett (22-7, 2-2 UFC) and Mike Easton (13-2, 3-1 UFC) will square off as both look to get back into the win column following losses in their last fights. Pickett dropped a decision to Eddie Wineland at UFC 155 while Easton also dropped a decision to Raphael Assuncao at UFC On FOX 5.
Featherweight Marcus Brimage (6-1, 3-0 UFC) puts his four-fight win streak on the line against Conor McGregor (12-2, 0-0 UFC), who will be making his UFC debut. Brimage is coming off a win over Jimy Hettes at UFC 152 in September. McGregor enters the UFC riding an eight-fight win streak, and he is a double champion in the Cage Warriors promotion in Europe.
Lightweights Reza Madadi (12-3, 1-1 UFC) and Michael Johnson (12-7, 4-3 UFC) will also square off. Both lost their last fight- Madadi to Cristiano Marcello at UFC 153 and Johnson to Myles Jury at UFC 155.
Plus, welterweights and Strikeforce imports Adlan Amagov (11-2-1, 0-0 UFC) and Chris Spang (5-1, 0-0 UFC) will meet as both look to score their second straight win.
UFC On FUEL TV 9 takes place on April 6 from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. The night’s main card airs on FUEL TV and the preliminary fights air on Facebook. A five-round light heavyweight showdown between Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi serves as the headliner for the event.
