Chris O’Dowd has taken a nearly film-stealing part in Bridesmaids into similar roles in Friend with Kids and This is 40. Now he gets a chance to headline a Vietnam era war film. The film’s already a fairly significant hit in Australia and now is finding its way to American shores.
Plot Synopsis: It’s 1968, and four young, talented Australian Aboriginal girls learn about love, friendship and war when their all girl group The Sapphires entertain the US troops in Vietnam.
