Smith, Editor in Chief of Inside Fights, and I will be covering the card live from the first punch to the last. Nah-Shon Burrell vs. Yuri Villefort
Round 1 – Early feints by Burrell, who lands a sweet lead uppercut. Villefort catches a kick and gets into side control. Villefort begins to transition to back and slaps on a rear naked choke…but Burrell gets free. Villefort loses position to Burrell who stands up and waits for the ref to stand his opponent up. Good combination by Burrell, but Villefort is whipping leg kicks at the front leg of Nah-Shon Burrell. Good left hook by Burrell. He gets Villefort down to the ground with a good combo, diving in with a punch, but Villefort almost locks on a kneebar. Burrell is able to get free and Yuri comes after him with punches. The two end the round on their feet. 10-9 Villefort

Round 2 – Leg kick from Villefort. Superman punch from Burrell is partially blocked. Body shot then leg kick from Villefort. Knockdown from a right hand by Burrell. Villefort is back to his feet and both fighters land big shots. Right uppercut from Burrell connects. High kick from Villefort, followed by a body shot from Villefort. Another uppercut lands for Burrell. Big right from Villefort over the top. Left hooks to Burrell’s abdomen. Burrell and Villefort clinch against the cage but roll off quickly and get back into the center of the cage. Yuri Villefort eats another jab and uppercut from Burrell. Blood is now dripping from the nose of Villefort. Burrell lands a right to the body and then a jab to end round 2. 10-9 Burrell

Round 3 – Big left hook over the top by Burrell. Inside leg kcik from Villefort. Double leg takedown from Villefort. He quickly takes the back but misses the rear naked choke. Villefort and Burrell grapple briefly, as Burrell slips free from the grips of the Brazilian and they are standing again. After a missed uppercut, Villefort gets another takedown on Burrell. Inside heel hook by Villefort, but Burrell just unloads on the face of Villefort. Blood is just flying everywhere as it happens. Burrell ends up back on top and has Villefort’s neck, but Yuri gets him against the fence. Burrell goes for a guillotine that Yuri Villefort escapes. Burrell presses Villefort against the cage. Villefort needs to take this round and is working for another takedown. Burrell escapes and lands a backfist on the way out. Burrell lands a kick to the face and follows with another uppercut. Villefort is a mess. Burrell, by comparison, is a totally fine. Villefort motions for Burrell to attack as the fight draws to a close, so both men go for it. 10-9 Burrell and 29-28 Nah-Shon Burrell

Winner: Nah-Shon Burrell by unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)


Jon Manley vs. Neil Magny
Round 1 – Both fighters throw out jabs before Manley presses Magny to the cage before he takes Magny to the mat. He’s back up, though. Jon Manley gets Neil Magny against the cage while he looks for the takedown against. The crowd boos as Manley pushes Magny down to the ground, but Neil Magny is quick to recover. Knees to the body against the fence by Magny. Magny switches the position and releases after some solid takedown effort that falls just short. Jab from Magny. Neil Magny gets Manley against the fence again as both men work for a takedown. Both fighters exit and work on their feet (no one really connects) as the first stanza ends. 10-9 Manley

Round 2 – Manley comes out swinging, but uses it to get Magny against the cage. Big takedown from Manley. Manley works to side control. Neil Magny hangs on tight and sweeps Manley to his back, holding side control. He briefly executes some ground and pound before he stands up. Manley has Magny back against the cage and Magny is landing solid knees to the body. After the fighters separate, Magny gets a takedown into side control. As Manley tries to escape, he is pounded in the face. Manley works back to his feet and puts Magny to the fence again. Magny trips Manley down but only to his knees. Big punch from Magny. Manley gets back to his feet and eats knees from Magny. 10-9 Magny

Round 3 – Good jabs and an uppercut from Neil Magny. Manley remains calm and hits a left hook. Big right over the top from Manley. Right misses from Manley and Magny gets a takedown. Side control from Magny and is back into Manley’s guard. Jon Manley has an armbar locked in on Neil Magny, but Magny keeps him pressed to the mat. Neil Magny protects his arm by separating Jon Manley’s legs. He postures up and slips his arm free. Big ground and pound from Magny allows him to get to full mount. Magny has Manley’s back, but Jon Manley gets free. Manley presses Magny against the fence. The two are separated and resume in the middle of the octagon. Manley eats a jab, but goes for some big shots before Magny steps under and gets one last takedown. 10-9 Magny and 29-28 from Neil Magny

Winner: Neil Magny by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)


Kenny Robertson vs. Brock Jardine
Round 1 – Both fighters launch leg kicks at the same time. Head kick attempt by Robertson is blocked. Kenny Robertson goes for a takedown and is caught in a deep guillotine. Robertson works free and is in top position against Jardine. Robertson quickly transitions to back and is working for a rear naked choke. Jardine tries to roll away, but is flattened out and pounded. Jardine is hand-fighting with Robertson to prevent a choke. As Jardine tries to shake Robertson free, Kenny grabs the base leg, uses his hooks to sink a submission from the sprawl and Jardine taps.

Winner: Kenny Robertson by submission (R1, leg lock, 2:57)
