That Being Said: The WrestleMania Expedition Announcement – Cancellation Of TNA Recaps

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

It is with deep regret disappointment sorrow necessity that I announce I will be unable to cover the 3 TNA shows I had planned to do as part of That Being Said: The WrestleMania expedition. I have commitments on 2 of the days that the shows air on that just recently came up and are urgent in nature, and can’t be changed. Believe it or not, I actually was looking forward to seeing the sorry state that this promotion is in, and I thought the fact that I scheduled the Impact before a PPV, the PPV (LockDown) and the Impact after the PPV would have been a good way to get a complete idea of what’s going on. Although, ever since 2007 or so, even on it’s best day TNA is like a California Roll with syphilis dip, so it’s only possible to be so disappointed.

Perhaps during my yearly extended summer break, I will find a similar week revolving around a TNA PPV to cover a few shows. Regardless, to my knowledge Scott Keith and Rhett Davis still cover TNA quite nicely, so I am sure my presence will not be missed.

To be honest, I’m not sure if anyone would have noticed if I hadn’t covered it and just not said anything.

“That Being Said” Updated WrestleMania Tour Schedule:

PREMIERE – Jan 14: WWE RAW (20th Anniversary)
Jan 23: WWE Main Event
Jan 27: WWE Royal Rumble

Feb 01: WWE SmackDown
Feb 14: WWE NXT
Feb 17: WWE Elimination Chamber

Mar 07: TNA Impact CANCELLED
Mar 10: TNA LockDown CANCELLED
Mar 14: TNA Impact CANCELLED

Mar 18: WWE RAW
Mar 29: WWE SmackDown
Apr 01: WWE RAW
FINALE – APR 07: WrestleMania

So, I’ll be back to cover a few shows before WrestleMania. The tour has been a mixed bag so far, but a lot better than I thought it’d be. I can’t say the card of WrestleMania excites me all that much as it could have, but many of the more boring wrestlers (Shaemus, Ryback, Miz, Barrett, Cody & Sandow) are struggling to get into anything other than a filler match, so I can’t really complain about that.

The 7th stop on That Being Said: The WrestleMania Expedition will take place on March 18th, when I review RAW. See you then.

I’ll be in my trailer.
