WWE SmackDown spoilers and results for Friday 3/29/13 — The Rock kicks things off to a huge ovation. He held up a Hershey bar to pop the Hershey, Pa. crowd and they ate it up ;) Rock then told the origin story for his Candy Ass catchphrase and then talked about John Cena and wanting to beat him again at WrestleMania 29. Rock was then interrupted by none other than John Laurinaitis. Wow.

Johnny Ace told Rock they have a lot in common since Ace started People Power and Rock is the People’s Champion. Johnny offers to be in Rock’s corner at WrestleMania and Rock polls the crowd, then delivers a spine buster and a People’s Elbow to Big Johnny. Rock then closed by saying he’ll beat Cena’s Candy Ass at WrestleMania.

Match 1. Chris Jericho. def . Wade Barrett in a non-title match. After the match, Fandango made his full entrance to the ring, but did nothing after that.

Backstage, Paul Heyman was being interviewed by Josh Mathews. Heyman said Triple H is in a must-lose situation against Brock Lesnar.

Mark Henry and Ryback had a bench press challenge. Booker T said if they get physical, they will be banned from WrestleMania.

Henry went first and bench pressed 220 lbs. 54 times in a row. Ryback then did his turn but while je was doing it Henry shoved the bar down across his throat. Ryback was then helped to the back.

Match 2. Daniel Bryan and Kaitlyn def. Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee – Kaitlyn speared AJ for the win.

From an undisclosed location, The Shield say Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show don’t stand a chance.

Match 3. Jack Swagger and The Great Khali fought to a double count out. Del Rio ambushed Swagger afterwards.

Match 4. Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Big Show def. Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, and Antonio Cesaro.

After the match, The Shield were coming through the crowd when the faces met them on the stairs to brawl with them.
