WTF Certified Spoilers: The Fourth World & New Gods Grow In Earth 2 #11 & Worlds’ Finest #11 (DC New 52)

Spoilers

Following, our Monday DC New 52 Trinity War developments and WTF rankings and yesterday’s reveal of 25 of the 52 WTF Certified gatefold covers, comes Week 1 WTF spoilery news.

Beware, spoilers follow for Earth 2 #11 and Worlds’ Finest #11. You have been warned. ;)

While the WTF Certified gatefold cover spoiled the return of Mister Miracle. He was not alone. Big Barda was with him! Check out the interior art rendered by Nicola Scott. Husband and wife in the New 52 too?

Also check out a further Mister Miracle concept sketch from current Earth 2 designer and cover artist Brett Booth.

Writer James Robinson continues to do great things in Earth 2. Also, writer Paul Levitz is doing some fun stuff with Worlds’ Finest chronicling the New 52 Prime Earth tales of displaces Earth 2 heroes Power Girl (Earth 2 Supergirl) and Huntress (Earth 2 Robin).

Well, while the cover to Worlds’ Finest #11 showed a master of disguise kissing Power Girl in the guise of Mister Terrific, the end of issue reveals him to be… DeSaad! Uglier than his pre New 52 portrayal too. He is presumably the master torturer of Darkseid who we saw in Justice League.

On top of all that Steppenwolf is playing a big villain in Earth 2 and Orion, Darkseid’s son, has been playing an extended role recently in the Wonder Woman series and will pop by Superman #19 this month. WTF?! ;)

The Fourth World and its New Gods are back in a big way in the DC New 52 and they matter. Very cool.
