The UFC has announced three new fights for the month of July via their Twitter feed.
Shane Del Rosario (11-2) vs. Dave Herman (21-5) at UFC 162 has been signed. Del Rosario is currently on a two fight losing streak, having been stopped by Stipe Miocic at UFC 146 and Pat Barry at the TUF Season 16 Finale. Herman is on a three fight losing streak of his own, having been knocked out by Stefan Struve at UFC on FUEL TV 1 and then by Roy Nelson at UFC 146 before being submitted by Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 153. Herman is also coming off a drug suspension after testing positive of Marijuana a second time.
UFC 162 is main evented by Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman
Tarrec Saffiedine (14-3) will be making his UFC debut against Robbie Lawler (20-9[1]) at the next UFC on Fox in Seattle, WA. Lawler is coming off a TKO victory over Josh Koscheck at UFC 157. Saffiedine is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Nate Marquardt at the final Strikeforce show where he won the Strikeforce welterweight title.
Danny Castillo (25-5) vs. Bobby Green (20-5) is also slated for that UFC on Fox card, which has yet to have a scheduled headliner. Green is coming off a submission victory over Jacob Volkmann at UFC 156 and Castillo is coming off a decision win over Paul Sass at UFC on FUEL TV 8.
