By now, everyone knows the story. I went to the Big Brother Canada open audition call with my best friend AJ Burman and the rest is history. It was surreal getting to see AJ in the house every week and in my long and storied reality television career, this was the first time I knew someone before they went on a show rather than meeting them after. The situation was made even more ironic by the fact that AJ and I live across the street from each other in real life and now we both lived in the Big Brother Canada house as well (since I was there before he was as part of the Media Day Game).
In any event, in the house… I thought AJ played flawlessly. He let the power players take each other out while waiting to make his move. Unfortunately, he waited too long as the instant eviction twist sent him packing.
While I expected AJ to immediately align with Aneal (his pseudo-replacement for me), AJ instead chose to buddy up with Andrew Monaghan and the pair were clearly my favorite players during the season.
I caught up with AJ and Andrew right after the finale ended for an interview in the Big Brother Canada house backyard.
