Dolph Ziggler Talks about Concussion and Not Remembering Monday Night Raw

News, Top Story

On Tuesday at the SmackDown tapings for last night’s TV show, Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion so severe that he was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia. Said Ziggler to WWE.com:

“I didn’t even remember Monday until I watched Raw when I got home … I don’t even remember traveling from Raw to Smackdown. I don’t remember Tuesday. I remember A.J. and Big E taking me to the airport on Wednesday morning.”

Ziggler was concussed when Jack Swagger kicked him in the head as Dolph bent over to grab a ladder. He will likely get a CT scan sooner than later and obviously he won’t wrestle until he passes all the appropriate tests and is cleared by doctors.

CB’s Slant: Of course, Extreme Rules is coming up on Sunday 5/19, and I just hope they don’t rush Ziggler back into something as high impact as a triple threat ladder match on PPV.
