Thursday night, Matt Harrak, Justin Czerwonka and Cameron Dougharty were joined by Rob Karpeles – the man behind @WWECreative_ish on Twitter – to discuss the top 5 debuts by men who would eventually become a World Champion.
We limited our criteria to Championships that were recognized during their time as “World Championships” by Pro-Wrestling Illustrated & their family of magazines/writers. It basically consisted of the WWF/E Championship, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the NWA World Championship, TNA World Heavyweight Championship, the ECW World Championship (before the company’s closure), the WCW World Championship (before the company’s closure).
P.S. – This is a RADIO SHOW. There are certain reasons why people picked certain stars and each one is debating throughly by all four of us which took us over 2 hours! If you just go by the names on a list, you really don’t get the spectrum of what the discussion was like.
