Without much time to be able to secure a Brazilian visa for a top tier welterweight, of course, Demian Maia is officially off the UFC 163 card. Josh Koscheck was forced to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury the UFC announced this morning.
Koscheck is on a two fight losing streak, dropping losses to Johny Hendricks and Robbie Lawler. Maia is on a three fight win streak since dropping from middleweight with wins over Jon Fitch, Rick Story and Dong Hyun Kim.
