Randy Orton Injured, Chris Jericho’s Latest WWE Run Ends at SmackDown Tapings

Two items of note relating to last night’s SmackDown tapings:

1. Randy Orton was legit injured according to several reports. WWE.com posted a story themselves, stating:

“At Tuesday night’s SmackDown television taping, Mr. Money in the Bank Randy Orton was injured during his match against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

According to WWE medical personnel, the nine-time World Champion suffered a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia.”

2. Chris Jericho posted the following comment on Twitter after last night’s SmackDown tapings, confirming this is the end of his latest WWE run:

“So long to WWE for now…2013 was one of my favorite in ring yrs ever! Thx for always sticking w Y2J & see u on the road soon w @FOZZYROCK!”
