The last stop for Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks on the UFC World Tour 2013 came Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. St. Pierre and Hendricks are preparing to meet at UFC 167 in November as St. Pierre puts the UFC Welterweight Championship on the line. They were joined by a special guest as well as former NFL great and undefeated MMA fighter Herschel Walker was on hand and even held gloves for Hendricks as he did some light training.
St. Pierre and Hendricks were both mesmerized by the workout session in the home of the Dallas Cowboys, and would love to someday compete in the mecca of football stadiums.
“Once I get that belt around my waist, I’d love to do a title defense here,” said Hendricks of the stadium.
St. Pierre, on working out in AT&T Stadium, stated “It’s amazing. It’s a great place. It’s a building you walk in and feel “wow”. It’s amazing. I would love it (to fight here). It would be a dream come true.”
