Sting Says He Can’t Wrestle Much Longer, Talks Next Stage of His Career after TNA Contract Expires in January

News, Top Story

TNA wrestler Sting said he will not be wrestling much longer in a recent magazine interview with Muscle & Fitness. He also is looking towards the next stage of his career after his TNA contract expires in January.

While Sting did not mention signing with WWE to cap off his wrestling career (if for no other reason for him to enter the WWE Hall of Fame), he did mention moving away from wrestling to movies and reality shows.

Said Sting, “I’m under contract until January of next year, so we’ll see what’s happening … I do want to do more movies. I’m looking at a few different things, reality shows being one of them. I’m just trying to move onto the next season of my life.”

As for getting into the creative side of wrestling, he adds, “As far as wrestling goes, I’ve stayed away from the creative part of it all these years, I just don’t want to sit in on the meetings and babysit wrestlers and personalities and all that. But, there are things I’d like to see happen in pro wrestling and I may try to make it materialize. I don’t know.”
