When Kane challenged Bray Wyatt to a “Ring Of Fire” match at SummerSlam, wrestling fans assumed this was a new moniker for the classic “Inferno Match”.
Well, yes and no.
As it was in “Inferno Matches”, the wrestling ring will be surrounded by fire that sits just outside of the ropes. The difference is that the “Ring Of Fire” match can be won by pinfall or submission and NOT by setting your opponent on fire.
