AJ Styles’ TNA contract expires next month, and reports have indicated that TNA has little interest in re-signing him. Styles himself hinted at this development on his facebook page, asking his fans where they might want to see him wrestle next. The options he laid out were staying with TNA or going to WWE, ROH or Japan.
CB’s Slant: If — and this is a big if — TNA is dumb enough to let AJ Styles walk, then I don’t even know what else to say except that TNA will be nonexistent within the next year. Yes, I believe Styles is that important to what’s left of TNA’s dwindling fan base, after all he has been the face of the company forever.
For AJ’s sake, I hope TNA does let him walk and he goes wherever the hell he wants. If that destination ends up being WWE, even better, as I think he could be very useful there.
